On 30 September 2026, Verra issued 17,755 Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) to the Nesa Solar PV Grouped Project, VCS 3659.
The first issuance covers the monitoring period from 10 November 2021 to 31 December 2024, with contributions from 17 commercial and industrial solar sites in South Africa. The credits have vintages from 2021 to 2024. Each VCU represents one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent; this solar project's credits represent verified emissions reductions.
The project was validated by TÜV NORD CERT and independently verified by SustainCERT. The project and issuance record can be viewed on the Verra registry.
